- IMF Series' frequency response is true low pass as opposed to a multilayer filter's notch response (see left). This true low pass response provides significant rejection to beyond the 3th harmonic.
- IMF Series' planar design is made using IMS' thick film process, which results in high part-to-part performance repeatibility and low insertion loss, not seen in multilayer devices.
- IMF Series' thick film architecture allows much higher levels of input power handling. Most IMF Series filters handle at least 20W input power.
